Call me crazy…maar ik ben vorige zondag naar Oostende gegaan. Ik was mee op “dialectenweekend” van Kriskras.

Er was een storm met stortregen en windsnelheden tot 110 km/u.

We hebben het even proberen uithouden, maar zijn dan toch uiteindelijk gaan schuilen in een zaaltje van de jachtclub. Zeiknat weliswaar

Ik las onlangs lesson 1 op morguefile.

De fotografe zegt dat haar populairste foto’s net diegene zijn waar ze “close” gaat en het frame vult met 1 onderwerp.

Het is vaak zo dat eenvoudige dingen het sterkst zijn.

Daarom heb ik geprobeerd wat foto’s te maken waarop juist één onderwerp te zien is, niks meer, niks minder. Dit is niet zo gemakkelijk als je zou denken…

Also taken at Studio Villanella, idea worked out together with Geert Heirbaut, another photographer who was there. Again, the theme was anti-consumption, ’silly huh?’ (//for those who don’t get the parody…illy.com) P.S.: note how the cans start moving before the ball touches them! I swear it’s no trick, for those who don’t believe me: this is the tower when it was still ok, pretty stable (it stood there in full wind for about 10 mins). I have no clue how it happened either.
